Tien Dinh, OFM Cap., and Tom Nguyen, OFM Cap., were ordained as deacons on Saturday, June 6 at Milwaukee's St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Both are alumni of Mount Calvary St. Lawrence Seminary High School.
Brother Tien recently graduated from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago with a master in Divinity. He will move to St. Katharine Friary in Crow Agency, Mont. where he will serve as a deacon at St. Dennis Parish in the Crow Nation Reservation, Mont.
Brother Tien said, "It has been a long and fruitful journey for me so far through academic study as well as ministering to others. I am very grateful for the support that my family, friends, and all the brothers in the Capuchin Order have given me. I am happy and delighted to be able to serve as a deacon to the people of God."
