The Diane Remy School of Dance and Baton in Sheboygan and Kiel is presenting five young ladies with gold cups for their achievements in dance.
Ellen Keuler and Cambria Deehr will receive their first gold cup in ballet. Catherine Brotz-Twohig, Caitlyn Muten, and Deehr will receive their first in tap. Sophie Brandt will receive her second gold cup in ballet.
The club is in its 25th year and is one of only two active dance clubs in the state. The dance festival is sponsored by the Wisconsin Federation of Music Clubs.
Awards were presented at the Saturday, April 5 performance of "The Spirit of Dance" at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan.
