Dietrich downs a monster buck
Friday brought the thrill of a lifetime for 16-year-old Parker Dietrich of Kiel. Hunting in the Town of Schleswig, Dietrich bagged this 17-point monster buck which weighed in at 160 pounds. He was hunting with his father, Dean, and other friends at the time of his successful shot.

Huskies Boys BB Senior Night - VIDEO
The Friday, Feb. 18 boys basketball game at New Holstein High School featured a special moment. With it being Senior Night, senior Tyler Zipperer suited up for the Huskies. He missed the entire football and basketball seasons with a knee injury suffered in an early-season football practice. Zipperer started Friday's game and-with the help of an arrangement between both coaches and the officials-the Huskies won the uncontested tip-off and got the ball to Zipperer, who made an uncontested layup. Plymouth was then given an uncontested layup as well. The Huskies in-bounded the ball to Zipperer, who dribbled over to the Plymouth coach, stepped out of bounds and thanked him for the favor. Kristen Linzmeier, placed third individually, and the Chilton girls took fourth as a team at the WIAA Division 2 State Cross Country Championships at Wisconsin Rapids. Other area representatives included Jake Rollmann of Chilton, along with Andrew Maile and Alexis Genke of Kiel.
