Hoarfrost has been common this winter in northeast Wisconsin

There have been numerous instances of hoarfrost in the past few weeks, formed by the condensation of water vapor on branches and then cooling to form ice. While such scenes often look prettier to the naked eye than to the camera, this photo does a good job capturing what area residents have been enjoying lately.
