At the Kiel Area School District Board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 2, Dr. Brad Ebert, district administrator, announced there are 276 students enrolled in the Between the Lakes Academy.

The new online school has seven partnering school districts and another one interested in partnering with KASD.  There are currently 20 open-enrolled students, 89 KASD students, 170 partner district students, and five parochial/home schooled students. There are 30 teachers facilitating.

Dr. Ebert and the School Board members gave kudos to Dr. Chad Ramminger, Dr. Deb Sixel, and everyone else involved with the Between the Lakes Academy.  The number-one goal of the Academy is to provide quality, top-notch programming for students.
