Baker Cheese, a fourth-generation family-owned, St. Cloud-based cheese manufacturer has been named the 2020 Dairy Plant of the Year by national trade publication Dairy Foods.
As one of 12 dairy processing plants throughout the U.S. nominated for the recognition by Dairy Foods, Baker Cheese received the most votes in a five-week-long online promotion.
“I’d like to extend a special congratulations to our plant operations team and our entire organization for their exceptional work,” said Brian Baker, president of Baker Cheese. “Achieving this prestigious recognition is a total plant effort, and I am proud of their commitment to creating superior string cheese.”
