BREAKING NEWS: Additional Pfizer vaccine coming to Chilton next week

The COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic in Chilton is offering appointments on April 14, 16 and 20 for the Pfizer vaccine.

All individuals age 16 and over are eligible. Youths ages 16 and 17 are required to have a parent or guardian with them to sign paperwork and be present during vaccination.

“Receiving the COVID-19 vaccine continues to prove quite effective and safe. It offers significant protection to not just the individual, but to their family, friends, coworkers, and the entire community,” said Bonnie Kolbe, Calumet County public health officer.

She added, “Having a large majority of the population vaccinated will decrease the spread of the virus and get us back to socializing and participating in activities without having to take precautions like wearing a mask and keeping one’s distance.”

Registration guidelines are as follows:

• Schedule an appointment online beginning Monday, April 12 at 10 a.m.

• All individuals, age 16 and older, are eligible.

• The second dose in the series will be scheduled at the first appointment.

The clinic is located at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 717 Memorial Dr., Chilton.

Individuals with questions or non-English speaking individuals needing assistance may call (920) 849-1466 starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 12.
