GB speaker visits Kiel class

Gretchen Mineau’s AP Language and Composition classes at Kiel High School welcomed University of Wisconsin-Green Bay admissions counselor Jennifer Strohm as she delivered a virtual presentation to juniors and seniors about how to write a college admissions essay.

Students learned how to “tell their story” and personalize their applications. Strohm’s advice to students was to “find the place that feels right for you. College has all kinds of opportunities to offer you, but you will only take advantage of them at a place you feel comfortable. There are plenty of awesome people like me who are happy to answer your questions and help you find your fit.”

The students thanked Strohm for speaking to them.
