Holyland Turkey Trot still collecting food

Participants and spectators huddled outside a past Holyland Turkey Trot event which benefits the Holyland Food Pantry.

The annual Holyland Turkey Trot still will be accepting food donations on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, although changes are being made to the run/walk event because of the pandemic.

Food items and monetary donations will be collected at the St. Cloud Civic Center from 8 to 10 a.m.; however, when it comes to the walk/run there will be no group start, defined route, or leadership provided. People are asked to wear a mask when donating items at the Civic Center. There will not be any refreshments served this year.

People are welcome to decide their own level of comfort and route if they wish to run or walk.

All proceeds from the day will go toward the Holyland Food Pantry, Inc. The Holyland Food Pantry is a 501(c) 3 organization with a mission to provide emergency and supplemental food and access to resources to those in need, in a non-judgmental environment, within its service area.
