Kiel Fire Department received a donation from Sargento and matching funds from their employees

This year the Kiel Fire Department received a donation from Sargento and matching funds from their employees through the United Way Giving Campaign. These funds were used to convert the KFD’s enclosed trailer into a rehab/MCI (mass casualty incident) trailer by adding an electric generator, heating, cooling, additional lighting, canopy, and chairs. The trailer will still perform the normal duties of transporting ATVs and ice rescue equipment. During large incidents the trailer will be used for firefighters or incident victims to rehydrate, warm up/cool down, or serve as an incident command post. The trailer has already been deployed for service within the Kiel Fire Department jurisdiction and neighboring departments for rehabilitation at large fires. Kiel Fire Department officials thanked Sargento and their employees for their generosity and continued support of the Kiel Fire Department.
