New Holstein welcomes Fisher as new police chief

Eric R. Fisher is the new chief of police for the City of New Holstein.

That became official Wednesday evening (Oct. 20) as the Common Council unanimously approved the action.

Fisher was in attendance wearing a New Holstein Police Department uniform, although he does not officially begin his duties until Nov. 8. City Administrator Casey Langenfeld performed a swearing in ceremony, after which Fisher’s wife pinned his chief badge on his uniform and Fisher signed his employment documents.
