New Holstein High School’s commencement for the Class of 2020 is scheduled to be held this Sunday, July 19 but it is not open to the general public.

Each family of the 86 graduates were provided with four tickets to attend. Principal Doug Olig said as of last weekend, 82 of the 86 graduates were planning to attend.

Olig said the school will follow a similar format as in past year but with many protocols in place to minimize/eliminate contact. The band and choir will not be present as pre-recorded music will be used where it is needed.

Graduation will be held in the school’s air conditioned gymnasium as usual. It is the only one of the four local graduations (New Holstein, Kiel, Chilton, and Stockbridge) which is being held indoors.
