Patrol officers visit Kiel Cub Scout meeting

Noah Draxler (back, left) and Lawrence Blaser (back, right) recently visited the Kiel Cub Scout meeting held in the upper level of City Hall. Both men are working as patrol officers for the Manitowoc Police Department. Draxler has been on the force for 1-1/2 years and Blaser for the past three months. Both are graduates of Kiel High School who earned their Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Draxler in Criminal Justice and Blaser in Psychology. Draxler received his police training at Fox Valley Technical College and Blaser at Chippewa Valley Technical College. The men talked to the Cub Scouts about law enforcement but also about how they came up through the Kiel Scouting ranks to become Eagle Scouts, something which they said has helped them already in their young careers.
