New staff were introduced at the September Chilton School District Regular Board meeting, including District School Resource Officer Andrew Handrich, elementary school reading and ESL teacher Angela Meier, first grade teacher Abigail Beckman, and School Nurse Michelle Blaha.

New hires at the High School included Counselor Tara Bruckner, social studies teacher Scott Sabel, ESL instructor David Schmitt, and vocal music teacher Josephine Annelin.

The board approved the 2020-’21 budget as it was presented during the annual meeting. The board also approved changing the next regular meeting from Oct. 19 to Oct. 26 in order to give the administration more time to make any necessary adjustments to the budget using state-certified numbers that will be available Oct. 15.
