School to participate in diversity discussion

What a fantastic homecoming week it was in the Kiel Area School District! 

It certainly looked different, but students and staff were still able to participate in many fun activities! During our homecoming week we celebrate our students and staff and their achievements, but also the traditions that have been established over time as we welcome back our former students and community members to the community.

The Kiel community has so much to be proud of and every time a student performs well in class, on the stage, or on the field, court or pitch, he/she contributes to that long lasting legacy of success that so many are proud of.

No matter where you visit in our district, you will notice that our school district is built upon hard work, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community pride. It is common to see students and staff working hard together for the betterment of the team at all of our functions. Just this past week I noticed students and teachers sitting and talking about personalized education plans, preparing for the upcoming high school musical or planning for an upcoming athletic event. We know that it takes all of us, the entire learning community, to raise and support our children if they are going to continue
