Benjamin Hellman is the recipient of the 2020 National Exchange Bank & Trust New Holstein High School Scholarship.
Hellman plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee next year to major in Nursing. He is the son of Kent and Shelly Hellman of St. Cloud.
Hellman was active at school as a part of the golf and baseball teams, the football team manager, and he did the school announcements. Outside of school, he is involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a member and volunteer. He also volunteers at churches, for food drives, and at homeless shelters.
Hellman works at Caring Hands Assisted Living doing tasks of a certified nursing assistant (CNA). This is one step in the direction of pursuing his career goal to become a registered nurse.
