An online bucket raffle is being conducted this year for the 11th Annual Pink Out, a local effort to raise funds for the fight against cancer.

Use this web address to support the effort:

The New Holstein High School (NHHS) basketball and cheerleading squads help coordinate Pink Out.

This year’s donations will help serve New Holstein resident Heather Sabish and possibly others. Sabish is currently on leave from Kwik Trip and is the daughter of longtime New Holstein High School staff member Sheila Roepcke. Heather is currently battling cancer. She is the mother of Athly (NHHS ‘14), Lorena (NHHS ‘17), Jordana (NHHS ‘20), and Deanna (Kiel High School ‘15).

The raffle will run until Feb. 3.

Pink Out was created in 2010 by then New Holstein High School junior Naomi Stevenson following her mother Amy Jo’s successful battle with breast cancer. She was on a quest to eliminate breast cancer and to provide a hand up to those burdened with the challenge of battling cancer.

Any questions should be directed to Shirts n Giggles in New Holstein at 898-5726 or any member of the New Holstein girls basketball and cheerleading squads.
