Audrey Anderson

Audrey A. (DeGrand) Anderson, 86, formerly of Kiel, a resident of Tender Reflections of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully Jan. 4, 2021.

Audrey was born Nov. 22, 1934 to the late John and Ruth Hoffman.

She was married to the late Donald J. DeGrand and the late Lyle Anderson. Audrey worked many different jobs throughout her entire life. Her main interest was to service people and she did. She owned a restaurant in Alanson, Michigan and a bar in Lincoln. Audrey worked at Hotel Northland in Green Bay, where she met a number of Green Bay Packer players of the Ice Bowl era, which she attended along with many more Packer games.

Survivors include her sons, Kerry DeGrand of Algoma and Ross (Diane) DeGrand of Manitowoc; daughter-in-law Sylvia DeGrand of rural Kiel; and grandchildren Brandon DeGrand of Two Rivers, Brittany (Adam) Kernz of Kiel, Ashley DeGrand of Manitowoc, Shane DeGrand of Manitowoc, and Heather DeGrand of Two Rivers. She is further survived by step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald DeGrand and Lyle Anderson; her daughter, Vicki Lynn (James) Royer; her son, Rick; and her grandson, Michael.

In accordance with Audrey’s wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no services, just memories of a lady who loved life and people.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice and Tender Reflections for their care.

The Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home of Kiel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
