Everett Kuester

Everett J. Kuester, 88, of Valders died peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2021.

Everett was born May 12, 1933 in the town of Meeme to the late Harvey and Luetta (Mueller) Kuester. He was employed for over 30 years at Tecumseh in New Holstein. Everett also enjoyed selling Jung Seed for nearly 50 years, most of all the time he could visit with all the farmers. Everett was an avid toy collector and enjoyed his toy tractor shows. He looked forward to his Prairie Gold Rush and International Cockschutt Club. Everett always enjoyed a Brandy old fashion, going for rides around the country and looked forward to a great meal at a restaurant with his family and friends. When he was able, he loved to travel, including going to visit the Arrowhead area in Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. In the 1950s and ‘60s, he enjoyed his time driving stock cars.

He is survived by his brother, Merlin (Geraldine) Kuester; sister Gloria Jean Buchman; and special friends Judith Beggs-Wagner, Bill Schultz and Roger Thome. Everett was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, James Buchman.

Funeral services for Everett will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. He will be laid to rest next to his parents at Kiel Belitz Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Deubler and his staff and all the staff at Sheboygan Aurora Memorial Medical Center—especially the 3K unit—for the care given to Everett. The family would also like to thank Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for everything you did for Everett in his last days.
