Frank Koszarek

Frank Koszarek, 77, of Gillett passed away peacefully at home Feb. 1, 2021.

Frank was born in Summit Lake in 1943.

Frank entered the Navy at the age of 17 and was an engine man. While stationed at Norfolk he caught the eye of his future wife Brenda, who oddly enough was the daughter of his commanding officer. Logging, hunting, fishing, and drag racing were all things Frank loved to do, especially raising cane. Frank spent over 40 years employed at Tecumseh Products Company in New Holstein before moving to Gillett.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kim (John) and Kelly (Kendall); grandchildren Laura (Leo), Blake, Austin, and Jake, Stacey (Jared), and Curt (Samantha); and great-grandchildren Eric, Liliana, Jada, Mauriella, Leo, Elyzabeth, Jase, Sofia, Jermiah, and Bryson.

A memorial service will take place at Kuehl Funeral Home of Gillett on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. with a prayer service and Military Honors to follow.
