Gerald Schreiner Sr.

Gerald L. Schreiner Sr., 65, of Kiel passed away at his home on Friday evening, Sept. 3, 2021 following a lengthy illness.

Gerald was born June 23, 1956 in Milwaukee County, a son to the late Leonard and Armella (Kleiber) Schreiner. He attended Franklin High School. He was united in marriage to Darlene Love and together they had three children. He later married Donna Cmelak. For most of his professional life he worked construction as a marble mason and in later years operated the Final Lap Bar and Grill in Kiel. He was a member of Bricklayers Local 8.

Gerald enjoyed NASCAR, vegetable gardening and a good game of cards, especially sheephead.

Gerald is survived by his three children, Gerald (Bambi) Schreiner Jr. of Milwaukee, Crystal Scales of Illinois, Jessica Schreiner of Waukesha and Tiffany Wilinski of Wind Lake; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is further survived by two brothers and five sisters; his former wife, Donna Wilinski of Kiel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Gerald’s family would especially like to extend their gratitude to Donna Wilinski for her continual care and compassion and to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic.
