Gloria Hall

Gloria A. Hall, 95, of New Holstein passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2021 at Libby’s House in Chilton with her family by her side.

She was born April 25, 1926 in Iron Mountain, Michigan, daughter of the late John and Elsie (Nelson) Barkle. Gloria graduated from Iron Mountain High School, class of 1945. She attended the Milwaukee Business Institute and graduated as an executive secretary. Gloria married Cliff W. Hall of Fort Collins, Colorado on May 14, 1949 at First Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain.

They resided in Menomonee Falls. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, taught Sunday School for over 15 years, a member of Ladies Aid and Church Choir. She served as chaplain of the Order of Eastern Star and was also active in the Junior Women’s Club.

Gloria enjoyed her family gatherings and spending time with her #1 granddaughter, Anna.

She is survived by her two children, son Cliff J. (Vicki) Hall and daughter Trudy (Scott) Wink; grandchildren Jonathan Fox, Cliff (Susie) Hall, John (Ali) Hall and Anna Wink; three great-grandchildren, Sumerlyn Vorchek and Claire and Drake Hall; one niece, four nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and her twin Wallace Barkle; sister Vivian Hassell; granddaughter Julie Hall Vorachek; and her husband, Cliff W. Hall.
