On July 18, 2020, God called one of his faithful servants home to heaven. Lori Anne (Vogt) Brennan, 63, of Lake Arrowhead, California died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends following a courageous battle with cancer.
Lori was born July 27, 1956 in Chilton. Those who knew Lori will remember her for her heartwarming smile, her positive attitude, her open heart to all who crossed her path, and her love of life. When you were with Lori, you felt that no task was too large. She had a passion for life and for living each day to its fullest.
Lori’s life centered on faith, family, and generosity. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church where she was involved with numerous ministries and founded the Celebration of Life Hospitality Ministry. If there was a funeral to be prepped, a celebration to be held, communion to be distributed, or any other special event, Lori was there. She mentored many individuals coming into the Catholic faith. She sought strength and guidance from our Blessed Virgin Mary.
Lori and her husband Pat had a passion for rock climbing and hiking and were founding members of the Rim of the World climbing club. Lori was a true sports fan with the Green Bay Packers her number-one team as she still frequented the games at Lambeau Field while living in California. She was an amazing cook and baker as many of the mountain could attest to the yummy goodies she prepared each Christmas. She could turn a variety of items into the most luscious meals and was comfortable preparing food for any number of people. When you wanted Lori’s eyes to light up, you just needed to mention her grandsons. She was a proud grandma and adored them. Lori worked in banking in Chilton and San Bernadino before she and her husband established Patrick Brennan Construction in Rim Forest. They worked side by side for 35 years and served their community through events such as Christmas in April, the Rotary Club, and many other community projects.
Lori is survived by her husband Pat of 37 years; two sons, Jeff Brennan and Adam (Sol) Brennan; and two grandsons, Landon Brennan and Joseph Brennan. She is further survived by her siblings, Karen (Bob) Gerrits, Mary Livingston, Ken Vogt, Diane (Dave) Mikonowicz, Dan (Donna) Vogt, Ginny (Ralph) Satzer, Chris (George) Roehrig, Gerald (Amy) Vogt, Jackie (Bob) Weber, Sherri Maurer, Pan (Dan) Scharenbrock, and Eric (Sarah Adams) Vogt; mother-in-law Mary Brennan; several brothers-in-law, Bob (Leslie) Brennan, Kurt (Sue) Brennan, Tom (Cindy) Brennan, and John (Holly) Brennan; and sisters-in-law Maureen (Robert) Schellenberger and Angie (Don) York.
