Robert L. Bowe, 66, of New Holstein passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 17, 2021 at his home.

Bob was born Oct. 22, 1954 to the late Robert A. and Marion A. G. (Spletter) Bowe. He graduated from New Holstein High School with the class of 1973 and attended Moraine Park Technical College, Fond du Lac. Bob was employed by Tecumseh for 34 years until their closing and then at Fleet Farm until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed making stained glass, woodworking and quilting. Bob also enjoyed small engine repairs and going to his house “up north.”

Bob is survived by his brothers and sisters, Wayne (Fran) Bowe, Donna Auchue, Mary Bowe, Ruth Bowe, Cindy (Steve) Ditter, Ed (Jill) Bowe and Pat Bowe. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and his great-great niece.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marion; grandparents; a brother, DeWayne; niece Carie; and nephews Anthony and Dave.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel. Visitation will be held on Friday, at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at New Holstein Countryview Cemetery.
