Alex Kleinhans of Kiel (top) beat Damon Schmidt, 9-5, at 172 pounds for Kiel's first win of the night

Kiel won six of the ten matches wrestled, however the Raiders did not walk out of the Brillion High School gym with a team victory.

The host Lions won three matches by forfeit and that was the difference in a 40-29 Eastern Wisconsin Conference wrestling dual between what is expected to be the top two teams in the conference. Brillion is the two-time defending EWC champ.
