The New Holstein student section supports their Huskies

New Holstein had its chances to pull a huge upset Tuesday night, but the offense went cold over the final 12 minutes and Manitowoc Roncalli earned at least a share of the Eastern Wisconsin Conference boys basketball title pulling away for a 68-46 win in New Holstein. The Jets host second place Kiel Friday night with a win clinching the outright title.

A Trevor Roehrig basket with 12:26 remaining tied the game for the Huskies at 35-all when NH went ice cold. Back-to-back three-pointers by Roncalli’s Hunter Chalupny and Tyler Bonin started a string of 15 unanswered points. Brayden Yanda had seven points in that run for the Jets.
