Kiel Baseball

Kiel baseball may be the best kept secret in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference this spring. The Raiders have an experienced roster and appear to have the depth to compete for the title. Here is the Kiel baseball preview:

Head Coach: Brad Mey

2019 REVIEW: Kiel finished third in the “new” Eastern Wisconsin Conference with a 9-4 record behind co-champs New Holstein and Valders. The Raiders were 15-7 overall. Making First Team All-EWC was pitcher/2nd baseman Austin Conrad. Third baseman Michael Endries was Second Team while honorable mention honors went to second baseman Brandon Stephany and outfielder Alex Vogel. All were seniors except for Stephany.

2021 PREVIEW: A large, deep roster is led by Stephany. Others back from 2019 are pitcher Travis Kohlmann, catcher/pitcher Keenan Manz, outfielder Isaac VanderMeer, outfielder Daniel Schmitz and utilty/pitcher Connor Meyer. Newcomers are Tate Hartlaub, Jackson Neese, Reed Libke, Eyan Desselier, Max Schaefer, Colin Gosse, Brett Hartlaub, Grant Manz, Alex Karls, Nathan Stephany and Tyler Halfmann.

Look for Kiel to be a title contender.
