NH Baseball

It took an extra year due to COVID, but New Holstein is ready to defend its Eastern Wisconsin Conference baseball title it shared with Valders in 2019. There are several teams that will contend this spring, including the veteran Huskies.

The NH baseball preview:

Head Coach: Chad Feucht

2019 REVIEW: The Huskies went 12-2 in the EWC to tie Valders after beating Brillion in the conference finale. They were 14-9 overall. NH had three First Team all-conference picks in pitcher Brad Schroeder, catcher Kayden Judkins and shortstop Teddy Schnell. Schnell was also honorable mention as a pitcher with outfielder Randy Smith earning the same honor.

2021 PREVIEW: Although all of those 2019 honorees have graduated the cupboard is not bare for coach Feucht as they will again field a talented squad. Seniors include Cameron and Cooper Olson, Sam Cady, Eli Lefeber, Jacob Kremer and Kent Blatz. The remainder of the roster has juniors in Logan Gulig, Cody Abler, Caleb Ausloos, Henry Schnell, Brevin Sabel, Dylan Danes, Hunter Lisowe and Zander Casper. Feucht’s coaching staff includes Pat Simon, Eric Ausloos and Corbin Thompson. Two losses won it 2019, but the EWC is wide open, so three or four losses for the champion maybe a possibility. The Huskies will be one of those contenders.
