Throw out the records when Kiel and New Holstein meet on the hard court. That was the case again Friday night as the Raiders used clutch free throw shooting in the final two minutes freshman Pierce Arenz to earn a hard fought  67-59 Eastern Wisconsin Conference boys basketball victory at Kiel.

The Huskies, who entered with just one win, led the favored Raiders, ranked 9th in the state in Division 3, 48-43 with six minutes left. A Travis Kohlmann bucket with 2:50 left gave Kiel the lead and Arenz sealed New Holstein's fate going 8-8 from the free throw line over the final 73 seconds. Kohlmann led all scorers with 22 points and Arenz added 20. Cam Olson poured in 20 for the Huskes.

The JV1 game went to Kiel. The JV2 game was postponed until this coming Monday.
