Things were looking good for the Chilton girls basketball team to get their fourth consecutive victory. Manitowoc Roncalli had other ideas.

Leading 42-38, the Tigers were outscored 7-1 over the final four minutes and dropped a heartbreaking 45-43 decision in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference struggle Friday night at Chilton High School.

Isabelle Kopf's only points of the night, a free throw line jumper, gave Chilton that four-point lead, but a Haley Grube free throw with four seconds left was the only other point the Tigers could muster.

Reagan Brown had 13 points, but fouled out late in the second half.

"Losing Reagan to fouls was a big point of the game," said CHS coach Tom Molitor.

"You always know it's going to be a tough, physical game against Roncalli. You just hope to have a shot late and we did."

Olivia Hoerl had 17 points, but Chilton JV fell 39-28 to Roncalli.
