Sundae on the Farm this weekend in Calumet County at Brillion-area farm

Calumet County Dairy Promotion Committee members are reminding area residents that Woldt Farms LLC of rural Brillion will host the 35th annual Calumet County “Sundae” on a Dairy Farm on Sunday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Sundae” on a Dairy Farm is a family event with no admission being charged. Special attractions at the 2021 “Sundae” will include live music, guided farm tours provided via wagon rides, multiple booth displays, Woldt Farms heritage display and a photo booth for families to take pictures with dairy calves.

Kids games and fun educational activities will take place during “Sundae.” Burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches along with sundaes will be available for purchase throughout the day. Chocolate and white milk is free. Each vehicle upon arriving at “Sundae” will be given a card that attendees will be asked to turn in a designated area and in return receive a gift bag of cheese to take home.

Visitors to “Sundae” on the Farm will be able to view the dairy operation and meet the farm owners Daryl and Amy Woldt along with their five daughters Kelsey, Kayla, Kristen, Karly and Kortney. Woldt Farms has been in the family since 1911 and became a century farm in 2011. The farm does a variety of activities including milking 1,500 cows, crop 4,500 acres, sell feed to other farmers, do manure hauling, custom working and trucking.
